Muraba Veil is a building born of the desert. It rises from the dunes to conjure a private sanctuary of space, fresh water and lush vegetation on every floor.
In its ineffable slenderness, the Veil exerts only a fleeting impact on the skyline, a thin membrane which echoes the fine layers of its facade.
A shimmering tower, awe-inspiring yet understated, Muraba Veil presents a daring, stop-you-in-your tracks spectacle, even in Dubai’s supercharged architectural vista – a structure whose profile and appearance could only be achieved by the very latest design and engineering.
Experience a villa above the clouds: expansive, seamless interiors where warm breezes brush the skin and doors open onto water pools and greenery.
The sense of a cool, green refuge extends across Muraba Veil’s public reception areas and rooftop restaurants and pools – new destinations for Dubai.
Muraba Veil’s rooftop bathing pools are a new destination for Dubai. A vast chamber of rippling light and shadow, of epic volumes and intimate corners, filtered sunlight and tumbling greenery offers a place of escape and sensory indulgence, far, far above the city.
In a traditional Arab home, the Majlis is the sitting room where guests are received. Muraba Veil’s Majlis floor on level 31 provides lounges, meeting rooms and dining areas where guests can be welcomed and entertained.
At Muraba Veil’s summit, dine and entertain in sumptuous surroundings, or simply join friends or colleagues in the lounge for light refreshment and a sky-high view of Dubai.
Muraba Veil is located at the geographic focal point of Dubai, where the city’s central waterway, the Dubai Water Canal, is crossed by its main transport artery, Sheikh Zayed Road.
The triangular shape of the plot led architects RCR to consider a slender tower that would occupy one side of the site. The building represents a marker in the sand for all Dubai to see: a solitary, unmistakable landmark of huge ambition, at arm’s-length from the 24-hour excitement of Downtown Dubai.
