The islands will be home to more than 80 resorts and hotels, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique hotels, family and eco-hotels, supporting Dubai’s drive to develop its tourism and hospitality sector by increasing the number of hotel keys.
With more than 20 kilometers of beaches, including a Blue Flag beach, about two square kilometers of parks and open spaces, and premium golf courses overlooking the Gulf, Dubai Islands will increase the length of beaches and areas set aside for public parks. A well-connected network of marinas and walkways for water, walking and biking supports the Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040 in developing vibrant and healthy communities.
