More than 80 resorts and hotels will be located on the Dubai Islands, including resorts, boutique hotels, family and eco-friendly hotels. Located along Dubai’s northern coastline, the islands are easily accessible by land and sea via road bridges and waterways and are an integral part of the emirate’s future vision.
Dubai Islands is a new waterfront residential development by the Nakheel Group. The project designed in line with Dubai’s 2040 vision will be an iconic symbol of future-living.
Residents of Dubai Islands will enjoy breathtaking landscapes, stunning architecture and plenty of amenities. The Dubai Islands development consists of 5 islands such as Central Island, Shore Island, Golf Island, Marina Island and Elite Island.
Dubai Islands are easily accessible from the mainland via road and sea. New Infinity Bridge links the islands to the city. Connectivity within the islands is provided through well-connected bridges as well as waterfront access for cruises and water transportation. Investors can purchase land plots for the construction of a hotel, mixed-use building (residential + retail) or residential building (apartments) in the community of Dubai Islands. Plot areas range from 25,337 to 60,302 sqft. The total number of residences will constitute over 38,000.
According to the Dubai City Master Plan 2040, Dubai Islands (formerly known as Deira Islands) will strengthen the emirate’s position as the global destination of choice for residents, visitors and investors. Each island will have its own unique offerings with innovative lifestyles, cultural centers, recreational sports beaches and beach clubs, all in one interconnected location, close to the city and the airport. The islands will be home to more than 80 resorts and hotels, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique hotels, family and eco-hotels, supporting Dubai’s drive to develop its tourism and hospitality sector by increasing the number of hotel keys.
With more than 20 kilometers of beaches, including a Blue Flag beach, about two square kilometers of parks and open spaces, and premium golf courses overlooking the Gulf, Dubai Islands will increase the length of beaches and areas set aside for public parks. A well-connected network of marinas and walkways for water, walking and biking supports the Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040 in developing vibrant and healthy communities.
